I heard that this steam version is missing the live action video parts from in between stages of the game. This true?

Hi , i love this game but couldn't find the option for the episodes to download them . So I was hoping that It would bring up the option at the end of Act 1 ...got to the end ... "Cannot connect to Steam. Retry / Skip Episode " . So I am stuck here. I CAN skip the episode , but that cuts out a chunk of the story. Also what I found , will not be seen . Without spoiling the story (which is great) - If you are playing the game on the hardest mode be prepared to rage quit the end of the game and watch the finale on youtube due tro the worst bit of game design ever. 1. Lengty cut scene after each death in the boss battle. 2. One-shot kill area of effect that is very difficult to escape. 3.
