I also find it kinda stupid that getting the bars up to full green gets you deposed and usually killed and having them drop to empty does the same. It's like you can't win for losing. There's no "you died in your sleep surrounded by your family" ending for a king.
Longest I stayed in power was 52 years.
Maybe Reigns isn't your type of game, then. At least it is only 3 dollars.
I keep thinking though that if you only got one life as King you could do this same game with way more detail during that single reign. Something I hope the devs would think about doing.
And, by trying to choose different answers throughout the gameplay, you just end up dying earlier, as the patterns of up/downgrades don't lign up. And then you just get frustrated and give up on what the game might have to offer.
Personally I'm only in for the aesthetic and achievements at this point.
