Login Failed Problem

So, I was getting that "SK needs the Steam client to be in online mode" problem. I found the solution on the boards, followed directions. Seemed simple enough. Now I cannot log into SK at all: I get a "Login Failed. Please check that your email and password are entered correctly." Well, they are. I can sign into Steam, play my other games, sign into the website, etc, but not into SK. I've noted that others have had this problem posted here, but did not find a stated solution. Oh, even "forgotten password" hasn't worked (though I haven't forgotten), no response. Suggestions?

If afterwords you still cannot login remember to verify the game cache.

Hi Dekay, yes, those were the directions I followed to solve the online mode problem, and now I cannot sign into the game at all. I am not sure how to verify the game cache.

Go to your steam library and right click your game. Click Properties > click Local Files tab > click Verify Integrity of Game Cache. This should download and replace any missing files.

I've got this problem too! I've tried the above but there is no local files tab!
