It's ridiculous. House 14, I've come to despise. They own most of the map it seems, but that aside, they basically ruin the game for new players. 5 of us, friends, decided to try and play, all of us in the same region. None of us can do much of anything, beyond that first few days, once the popularity bonus and AI/Disease negation ceased, we're screwed because of House 14 stewards. They do nothing, we ask, they shrug. Try to build an army to take care of the wolves yourself? Yeah, sure, if you can get a peasent every 10 hours with maximum bribe, food, and ale, maybe you can get your ass handed to you by the weakest of wolves in a few days with more than 10 peasents. It'd be nice to level up, maybe get some new skills to help further, but alas, at 212 honor per day and the only time you see the stewards is when they quickly rush to grab any honor offering (?) resources, before you can.

It's becoming stupid. There's nothing that can be done that we can figure, but is there any advice for how to get past this? I already moved once a couple days ago and right into another of house 14's parishes.

i made friends with my parish if i donate 2000 cheese a day they give me no tax and tons of troops for my castle im in south dakota

Your best bet is to develop a relationship with your steward. Oh, and never ask your steward to remove the parish wolf lairs, that would rub even me the wrong way. You see wolf lairs spawn like every 6 hours and hardly effect village popularity (-2), they don't attack you and to top it off they are expensive to remove.

Well, from personal experience. just move to a different newer server. its best to place yourself down when things start developing. so your important and blah blah blah.
anyways, if you dont want to do that try and build up a good castle. im guessing there are other AI's besides wolf lairs so you can get alot of honour off of them, stock exchange at a parish can also get you alot of gold if you find you have a meager ammount of gold to,
Like Dekay said, try and befriend stewards, you'll find it much easier to accomplish things with people backing you up :3

Yeah totally, introduce yourself to me and state your intentions/goals and I'm much less likely to treat you as a potential threat. I welcome players in my parishes but all to often it's come back to bite me when they attempt to take whats mine later, an introduction clears that up.

You can't make friend with someone who when you ask them to remove the Wolf Caslte (-30 something pop. ) as well as 200 disease and they tell you they have problems in new mexico and can't be bothered with poor North Alabama. Yeah, no. Doesn't really work so well trying to befriend that guy and get on his good side, crap steward is a crap steward, needs to go.

Agreed, some stewards are complete douchbags and your only recourse is to either remove him from the parish or leave the parish yourself. Try asking around in your faction/house to see if anyone is looking for a good parishioner.

I join usa server from the beginning here what happend at the end, H14 didn`t won the world as many people think ,h1 and h17 and h9 was strong enough to handle with h14 but what happend is h17 factions and h9 factions betrayed thier houses and join h14 and they gang on h1,h9 and they f.ked up the server, now h13 is fighting over the northwest, and btw there is a lot of h1 players still playing the game, but h17 major players like kree gor and bradamanta ( if i can remember the name ) quit the server, i quit the server but i come back again but to be honest i will never be able to do something alone

Yeah i tried going on that world and when i saw it was controleld by one house i left straight away. World 7 is GB but its very good. All four countrys are owned by different houses, lots of wars going on it isnt boring or pointless. Next age if you feel like you want something more then what you guys describe, try getting on there.

Sometimes the stewards don't have the resources to take care of those things if they've been fighting else where. You have to take into account if they are fighting in a different area they are still using faith points and gold and may not be in a position to take care of certain things right away. Sometimes patience is a good thing.

Also, calling me a crap steward when I was waiting to take care of things, because I DID take care of things (if you notice my parishes). If you have just waited, you wouldn't be on here complaining now. Just my thoughts on things. If you've played the game before you'd know sometimes Wolf castles suck a** to destroy if they are fully built. Sometimes you have to WAIT for things in a SLOW PACED game.
