How did you improve your security when you had the data breach in 2018?

Why did i not get an email from you about this?

I had to find out on the internet, that my emails address, username and password have been leaked from your services.


In July 2018, the massive multiplayer online game Stronghold Kingdoms suffered a data breach. Almost 5.2 million accounts were impacted by the incident which exposed emails addresses, usernames and passwords stored as salted SHA-1 hashes. The data was provided to HIBP by a source who requested it be attributed to "[e-mail]".

I didnt have time for social medias, game launchers and forums at that time, as a fire in the apartment obove ours made us homeless.

But since they already have our email address the least they can do is to send a mail when their security fails, and they leak your data.

and it is not my responsibility to check if the 900 games i have in my game libery leaks my information, it is their responsibility, otherwise i cant do anything else all day than check forums.

If they cant even do that, they should not be allowed to store sensitive information.

That would be one of my accounts there...are they refunding any money at all??
