Is the Demon Tower difficulty balanced correctly?
Hi, I have a question about the Demon Tower difficulty.

The recommended difficulty is equivalent to Wave 50, but even though I've already reached Wave 160, I can barely deal any damage to the tower's HP.

It feels like the actual difficulty is much higher than the recommended level.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the Demon Tower currently unbalanced?

Is there a specific strategy or mechanic I'm missing?

I have the same issue, i am at wave 220. I do get it down to about 30% hp left on the castle. Keep in mind that the challenge states that they take 75% extra fire damage and take less damage from Frost. There are also support heroes that help you take less damage and regen castle health. Don't go for SSR DPS hero's only.
It’s meant to be that way. Do you expect to beat everything all at once? You’ll clear it around wave 300+. This mode isn't supposed to be rushed.
with the right setup i managed to beat it at 230, but i think OP's point is more that "Power 25" is supposed to be equal to "wave 25" which clearly isn't the case.

But yeah, no need to rush.

I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make, but if that's the case, what's the point of having a recommended power level in the first place?

Is that also just "the way it's meant to be," as you put it?

Seems pretty pointless to display a recommended level if it's nowhere near the actual difficulty, doesn't it?
This is a Chinese mobile port, don't try to find logic here.
What makes you think the recommended power level is supposed to equal the wave number?
Just because it's written there doesn't mean it's actually true in a mobile game 😂
I cleared 5 floors at wave 370

I'm still not really sure what you're trying to say.

The game literally states:

"The combat power value corresponds to the difficulty of a stage with the same wave number. For example, if the value is 120, the difficulty is equivalent to Wave 120."

So, did you actually read the in-game description before asking me that?
I’m very sorry for the frustrating experience this has caused.

My original intention was to help players recognize that the tower mode requires some preparation and suitable equipment, and encourage them to obtain that equipment through Rift Raid.

However, things didn’t work out as intended, and many players ended up getting stuck here. We’ve therefore adjusted the difficulty and improved how the recommended power is calculated for this mode.

Thank you for your response and for addressing this issue.

Just to clarify, is the Demon Tower intended to be clearable at the recommended power level, provided that players have the appropriate equipment?

If so, could you explain what kind of equipment or build you had in mind?

Currently, the enemies seem to have such an enormous amount of HP that almost all meaningful damage comes from percentage-based damage effects, such as Burn and Poison.

As a result, it feels like leveling up heroes and improving their stats has very little impact on progression in this mode.

I'm curious whether this is the intended design or if there's a specific strategy or mechanic I'm missing.

The recommended power number is actually one of the parameters used to scale monsters. For example, the Demon King Tower at wave 25 uses a scaling factor of 25. Regular battles work the same way.

The difference is that the Demon King Tower’s boss can be attacked right from the start, so players can adjust their characters’ attack behavior to focus it down much more efficiently. But if the recommended power is set too low, players may reach it before their builds and gear are ready, making the boss feel much harder to beat than expected.
So the Power level is actually the wave number? I was searching every menu or statistic where is my Power value, but have found nothing.. Maybe add hint of that somewhere..

yes we have ,if your focus on the text in the BossPanel's Power Value, you can see the explaination.
I think the way that the Demon Towers works is stupid. 90% of my damage is Poison + Burn (can't get Rend to stick).
