user maps for mac?

hey, completely new to steam and this game, and please just quietly judge me for playing this on mac. however, i want to play some user maps that combine economics and warfare. the freebuild is really just about designing a city and not necessarily about fighting. i could be wrong on that so please correct me if that's so. anyways, how do i find mac user maps and how do i upload them to steam or SH3? thanks

You can use PC maps with the Mac version of Stronghold 3. You need to place them in a different folder though:
"Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/com.vpltd.Stronghold3/GameDocuments/Stronghold3/Maps"
