Any free build custom map?

Since the developers refused to add upgradeable keep into free building mode, then make a map start with the highest level of keep could make it turn out less wired.

There are several places where you can find some additional maps. You can check out Stronghold Heaven downloads section[stronghold.heavengames.com], and you can also check if there are some maps at Stronghold Nation downloads central[downloads.strongholdnation.co.uk] as well.

Also, I agree with you, I find it better to play with any stone keep - even if it is the smallest one, than to be limited to wooden. It doesn't seem logical to have wooden keep and stone walls and towers. Still, being able to have wooden keep and wooden walls is also a nice thing. :)
