In Stronghold games, only in Crusader Extreme and Crusader 2 you are able to heal troops and units, while in Stronghold 2 you are able to heal the lord only. I don't know about SH Legends. In Crusader Extreme you have the healing ability, while in Crusader 2 you can train healers in mercenary post.
PS. As this is 16 hours later... Did he diededed? :D
By the way, you can try with apothecary, and see what is that guy doing. In Stronghold 2 the lord gets healed in apothecary. In Stronghold 3 apothecary is used to heal the lands from disease, but maybe he could heal lord as well, but I doubt that. :)
Most of StrongHold Mechanics and features are Just a placeholder, they don't work at all imo.
But i still like to build castles and blow stuff up with Catapults, that's pretty fun :3
