steam game failing at launch

While trying to launch several games, the games crash right from the get go, in this case it is Stronghold 3. also ROME 2 Total War crashes a few seconds after clicking play on steam. i've tried every type of low end troubleshooting to fix the issue(uninstalling, clearing caches, verifying game integrity, etc.). I managed to understand that there is some kind of stack overflow problem. I don't truly don't understand further than that and that Fault Tolerant Heap(FTH) may have something to do with the game crashing.(https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff540620(v=vs.85).aspx)

The problem doesn't just plague Me, but other users of steam too, so I am trying to see if there is anything that can be done to resolve the issue. It may even be something small that may have completely flown over my head. firefly studios told me to do everything I've done already((uninstalling, clearing caches, verifying game integrity, etc.). And in the end they told me the game wasn't at fault and linked microsoft that microsoft had an answer. Now that you know my situation, I would appreciate any help understanding or resolving the issue. I could provide more info pertaining to the issue if needed.

i think i mannaged to fix the problem... i have MS Windows home 64 bit... i was tring to run intel graphics driver software for a windows 10 home 32 bit OS.. i think i am updating the graphics currently. i will update if it works

Stronghold 3 fix for Windows 10

I copied and pasted the Stronghold3.exe which made a Stronghold3 - Copy. exe executable then clicked run on the copy and it worked!

go to steam, them library

right-click stronghold 3(window will po-up)

click on local files tab, (new window should pop=up) with files: assetes, bin, resources, and a text file named "installscript.vdf"

click and open file/folder named "bin",

then on file/folder "win32_release",

then left click & copy the "Stronghold3.exe" executable and paste with in the "win32_release"
folder creating a "Stronghold3 - Copy.exe"

right click on "Stronghold3 - Copy.exe" and create a shortcut to desktop
OR create a shortcut then click & drag the "Stronghold3 - Copy.exe - Shortcut" that will be created in the "win32_release" folder to your desktop

at this point the game is fixed. to run and play the game YOU MUST RUN THE COPY(Stronghold3 - Copy.exe) or the shortcut that was created in the desktop.
