Game freezing after a certain time

Guys my stronghold 3 Keeps freezing up after i have played like half a mission and its the same for every mission i start .Im playing on a mac .But surely i shouldnt have this problem

This bug has been here since day one and has never been fixed. I'm on PC.
The bug is random for me.
Sometimes I can play without problems for hours, but othertimes just 10-15 mins or so.
