That said I'd pre order Absolver 2 in a heart beat
When I saw the cover art: two very generic, faceless figures fighting each other and the line "Online PvP bla bla" below it, I automatically assumed that it was something like a cheaper For Honor. I didn't even know there was such a thing as single player, until the game was free to try this weekend.

There's a lot more to how the game "died" than just that, but that's the specific reason why development ended when it did.
