But other than that, the bulk of the fun comes from getting good in pvp.
Downfall kinda feels like there was more to follow. Honestly, loved it. It's a shame. Love the story, the vibe...
As for the game. Sloclap stopped updating it to make Sifu. It's unclear if they will come back to Absolver but it is highly unlikely they will. Sad that we will never see staffs added but im quite happy with what we have
Developers washed their hands of it after they made their initial bank. Game launched with promises of more content and styles and such down the line, stuff that we never got.
Essentially, the community got screwed.
Problem with that idea is that they actually did add tons more stuff compared to launch, as of now, the only thing that wasn't included that was implied since the beginning was a staff as an added weapon.
I mean, now there is, school challenges can do that for you, prestige kinda works for rankings as well kinda. Combat Trials is there for proper 1v1s, and there's plenty of people to fight in the Discord
As for the ranking system, this too has been carried by players, a discord server has been created to teach the game to new players and make the masters compete for position, a sort of leaderboard but not linked to farming points but to the player's skills.
