The creators of Absolver Sloclap, are currently developing a brand new game called SIFU, the game is martial arts focused and is single player (i'm not 100% sure if it will have multiplayer or not). Its eta is 2021 and from what i can tell its combat looks like a direct upgrade of absolvers.

I played this with my friend back in 2018. Though he stopped soon after, and it was hard for me to continue it by myself. It's an alright game, but definitely more fun with friends. If they do make a sequel, it would be fun to get back into it

Thankfully this game is making a comeback, I just found it randomly on my own from a Google Search. (Sadly I bought it full price 1 week before the sale) This game is amazing. Does it have it's issues, Yes, (mostly because the developers binned it 2 years after it came out so everyone dropped it like a hot rock.) But it's still good despite being binned. If the developers wanted to really give a shout out to their original followers with the next game, they would do something cool like a tie in, If you buy Sifu, and you own Absolver, we'll give you a new Absolver stance called Sifu. Something that was a nod to Absolver, and then anyone who wanted more Absolver would 100% buy Sifu even if just for the new Absolver stance. AND anyone who bought Sifu may look into Absolver. It's just a thought.
