Upgrade: no; new players: yes but mostly depends on your region, the game have a low playerbase, but I find many players to play with in Eu region, also Na have many players instead in Oce and Asia I hear is more difficult find players.
The best way is to join official discord so you can ask there if someone want to fight or for help

nope, if you like the look of the fighting then i recommend just waiting for sifu it's a game on epic games developed by the same people, it ain't out yet though

It may be from the same developers but Sifu is not Absolver. One is single player the other is multiplayer, one has very in depth customizable combat and the other does not.
But seeing how they abandoned this game despite it having such a dedicated player base and a surge in popularity years ago... I don't trust Sifu to be anything more than a 15 hour story with nothing more to it.

It's worth buying if you enjoy intense pvp action , there is also the aspect where you are constantly trying to find new moves for your deck ( like pokemons ) wether it'sagainst players or npc it goes the same . I started playing last week , I rate this game 20/10

PS : would highly recomand to play with a controller

Is it really a good waste of money for limited gameplay?...The aesthetic is pleasing and the moves are customizable beyond expectations, however there are multiple hackers, lag, and nobody cares to update the damn thing so I basically stopped playing until I feel like it...Which...I don't think I will feel good bout it for a while...

I would be the best pvp fighting game ever if there was not so much delay. But it´s impossible to play when your inputs come 1 sec late in some fight. Wish they would fix it

I'd say its worth it. I keep running into randos out and about in the open world.

As a casual fighter only, I'm loving this game, it just *feels* good.
