Is controller crucial to play this game?

Or am I fine with mouse and keyboard? I have beaten LET IT DIE on m+k and Monster Hunter World plays just fine on it, is this game as enjoyable on keyboard and mouse as on controller?

I play with mouse and keyboard and I'm fine, I have just rebinded some keys

You may need to rebind some keys to be comfortable for you, but it is perfectly playable on M&K. I'd recommend taking the defensive class abilities off of mouse movement and switching them to arrow keys, but thats just me.

Parry (besides 1 button absorb) is probably the easiest to use on KB+M. Move your stance keys around and put your parry left/right on Q/E. The only issue with the other types is finding comfortable locations for the keys that make sense.
