I also got the black version from a Rift Disk.
Google it. :/
- 1 possible color
- 2 possible colors
- 6 possible colors
So you have the majority of masks that only come in a single color. Then you have a handful of marked one masks that drop from the NPC in 1 color, but when found in a rift disk are always a 2nd, different color. And then there's another handful of masks that (even though it isn't displayed) follow the same dye scheme as other categories of gear - default, white, black, red, blue, alternate. Forest Dweller is in the last category with 6 colors. Default is green and alternate is yellow for Forest Dweller. I have all of them except blue, which I've seen other players wearing.
Can confirm this theory is bust.
Still don't have Dormek's mask on my main with over 180 hours of playtime including multiple hours of specifically farming Dormek for various reasons. (often "no online access" but sometimes "not well enough to PVP but want to play anyway")
Is it true that farming offline gives less loot drops than online?
I read that somewhere and never found out of its true or not.
Being online means you're in world with more NPCs at a time. This means there's more NPCs around to drop stuff, which in turn means more chances at loot. Also PVP gets more XP than open world so PVPing gives you faster prestige leveling which in turn means more crystals for rift disks, which in turn means more chances at loot.
