Marked Ones Masks
So, we've all been there at some point. You see a Marked One, want that mask, and you kill them for it. Doesn't drop. You try again. No luck. I myself have always wanted the Forest Dweller Mask, and only until now have I found how to get it (I think, for what I've found myself).

After completing some Combat Trials, you'll see Marked Ones drop some gear (maybe a chest piece, gloves, or pants of some sort), but never a mask. At this time the CT level would be around 10-25(?) for the player. Advice at this point would be just keep getting up there.

Today I reached level 30 in Combat Trials, got to 31, and after fighting Ama Saba once, the mask dropped for me.
I was wondering if there was some confirmation on this knowledge of the drops, for the sake of clarification and for helping other players. And if this is true, then for players who are really wanting one of those cool Marked Ones masks, then here you go.

Does this mean that the mask(s) have an extremely rare drop rate like some say, or is it just after CT level 30 that the mask(s) will start dropping? I haven't been sure myself, and I want to find out for other people out there.

Thanks for reading, and have a nice day!

I've had Saba's mask drop several times in a couple hours by exiting the area after defeating her and repeating. My friend was trying for the drop but it dropped for me 4 times before it dropped for him.
I also got the black version from a Rift Disk.
wait? there is a black version of ama sabas mask 1. pics or it doesnt exist....and 2. i must get that mask if it exists

As far as I can tell masks fall into 3 different categories:
- 1 possible color
- 2 possible colors
- 6 possible colors

So you have the majority of masks that only come in a single color. Then you have a handful of marked one masks that drop from the NPC in 1 color, but when found in a rift disk are always a 2nd, different color. And then there's another handful of masks that (even though it isn't displayed) follow the same dye scheme as other categories of gear - default, white, black, red, blue, alternate. Forest Dweller is in the last category with 6 colors. Default is green and alternate is yellow for Forest Dweller. I have all of them except blue, which I've seen other players wearing.

Got Dormek's mask on my alt at CT level 3. Got Revario's and Ama Saba's before level 10.

Can confirm this theory is bust.

Still don't have Dormek's mask on my main with over 180 hours of playtime including multiple hours of specifically farming Dormek for various reasons. (often "no online access" but sometimes "not well enough to PVP but want to play anyway")

Ah, I see; apparently it is just luck then. Thank you for the information, and have a nice day.

Is it true that farming offline gives less loot drops than online?

I read that somewhere and never found out of its true or not.

Being online means you're in world with more NPCs at a time. This means there's more NPCs around to drop stuff, which in turn means more chances at loot. Also PVP gets more XP than open world so PVPing gives you faster prestige leveling which in turn means more crystals for rift disks, which in turn means more chances at loot.

Hey guys. The best way to get masks? Level up to 60, get your stats lined up proper (there's a guide for that) get a good deck, and do pvp. After playing for awhile, spend your shards on the 3 packs and spend your single shards. Rince repeat. You'll be swimming in masks that way before too long.
