What is better , controller or keyboard+mouse?

Im new on the game(in fact i didnt open the game yet),but i dont want do the mistake of take wrong setup, like i did in rocket league.
In rocket league the main setup to play is controller, and i got used to keyboard, and when i tried to switch to controller was to late, so i dont want to do the same mistake again.
pls let me know what is better to play.

I've been using KBM with the only real problem being using the mouse for style special. Even playing Kahlt (where the special is non-directional, you just swing the mouse anywhere) I will sometimes double-absorb by mistake. You sort of have to train yourself to swing the mouse and lift it up, attack, and set it back down in one motion. It sounds preposterous but it's really no big deal, to me anyway.

I main Kahlt and tried kb&m, but doing the kahlt absorb was too hard and uncomfortable.

While keyboard and mouse are supported, we recommend using a controller to play. XBOX, PS4, and Steam controllers are all supported.

Worth noting certain things that are strictly limited to controller:
- Walking (with KBM since you have buttons for movement you can run but can't slow-walk, although that's only really useful for showing everyone how smug you are)
- Moving camera while in a menu (I've seen this done in Youtube videos, but for me using KBM, it's impossible to rotate the camera while I'm in a menu)

Not sure if there are other things I'm missing.
