The game sucks too much at low levels.
Why? Because while you are actually learning the basics of the game, you are forced to play with a very limited and unoptimized pool of moves.

In any other game it seems fine, but in this game where your success and the fun in combat is based on using the abilities you feel comfortable with, it feels really annoying and you got a constant stream of "fck off, I don't want to fight with these dumb moves!" -thoughts running down your back.
Add obnoxious players to the mix and you got the perfect storm of frustration and toxicity.

Thankfully they steered clear of a chat feature. But I wouldn't be surprised if this load of frustration, ON TOP of the actual steep learning curve, would drive most initial players away.

WTF you talking about? I am not leaving, I can play past the initial frustration. But the more will be pushed away by this, the more likely the game will die.

If you're on the NA server, I don't mind teaching you a few moves.

It's actually good thing. To learn some cool moves you have to see them in action, really learn them. And while learning you can observe what was the most difficult and adapt that thing as your own.

Nah, whiners like you feeding them attention is where the sh!t cycle begins.

And I know I'm perpetuating the autism by replying, but hey, ain't that the nature of this rancid beast we call life?

It only took me about an hour to get myself like 10 more moves ontop of what I started with. I figured the FIRST thing I do to avoid what issue you're having is that was block and dodge attacks these AI have because I probably don't have any of them and I'll definitely need more moves.

I like how the game is to be honest. I'm playing for a second day and I have already enough moves to build at least 3 fluid motion combos. I still suck at it and die if there are more than two enemies or if the two enemies are armored... but I find it fun and grinding for moves is one of my favorite things to do at the very moment.

This is the main purpose of the PvE world though. To learn moves against the AI opponents. If you are constantly running into players that just want to gank you, Change your Encounters options or set it to Offline mode till you get a better feel for the game, it's what I did.
