Can you fully Co-Op?
Can you Co-op and with npcs/other players with friends or is it just random encounters/matchmaking. I just watched a playstation access video and they made it sound like you just randomly encounte other players but can't play with friends (in the open world).

You randomly encounter players, but you can also invite friends to join your area.

You'll only ever have a maximum of 3 players in the open world with you, though. And there's no NPCs to co-op with. There are some NPCs who will talk to you and give advice, but they don't fight with you.

so if i have 3 friends in area then i cant find any other random dude to play against them?

If you have 3 friends in an area, they won't be running into other players. You also won't be in the area because those 3 friends will have it capped out.

Ahh, okay good. I like exploring worlds with friends so that was a key reason I pre-ordered so I'm happy thats a full feature. Would you recommend a controller or is keyboard just as good?

The developers have said that while the game does work with keyboard and mouse they highly reccomend using a controller, as the game was built with controller in mind and keyboard and mouse as more of an afterthought.

Yeah that. Although a few KB/M players from the beta have said the controls there were really smooth, and the devs have mentioned that the option of remapping the controls was being added to further help with that.
