Radioshack PC controller with Xbox 360 mode isn't working. Please help?

I'm actually trying to use my controller to play this but it isn't working. If there is any solution other than using keyboard, I'll gladly use the help. I'm actually disappointed, since this game looks really fun, but I want to use my controller. Thanks for the help!

Third party controllers can be finicky, there's a hard limit of how many we can support. Have you tried using the in-game button mapping to fix the issue?

I've tried the in-game button mapping but the buttons don't seem to work in general. The only thing that functions is the control stick. I don't have this issue with any other game in my library, besides this and Slime Rancher, so it's not the controller.

Ha, funny coincidence that Slime Rancher is also affected by it. We tried to include as many controllers as possible, perhaps yours is not supported by our system. Can you give me its identifier number? We can check if we can add support but otherwise there's not much we can do with specific third party controllers, sorry!

I think it's "2603666", but it functions like an Xbox 360 controller when I hold the "9" and "10" buttons down for a couple of seconds. I hope this will help me. Thank you for the support!

I don't want to create a new thread but I seem to be having exact same issues as OP with my Logitech F310. Thus if you could check it as well (I think it's also a rather popular one) then that'd be great.
