Tips trophy isn't triggering for me.

I've replayed them a bunch of times but can't seem to get the tropy.

There's not much shame in using Steam Achievement Manager for unlocking achievements you know that you've earned.
I was quite upset personally, when Clannad didn't unlock any of the relevant achievements for the last half of my playtime.

I know the discussion is a bit old, but I had the same problem and I found a solution, so I thought I would share it for those that may be in the same situation.

I don't know if it was the root of the problem, but I had my game patched with the 07th mod. At that time, I tried reviewing all tips, did the story again just in case by reviewing the tips each time but no luck. I then tried uninstalling the game completely, deleting both all game files and saves, disabled steam cloud and reinstalled the game. After that, I skipped through the chapters and the tips as they unlocked and finally got the achievement at the end.

So I don't know if it was the 07th mod or the fact that I needed to clean everything (maybe it wasn't necessary to that extent though), but I got the achievement that way. I'm glad to know that it can still be obtained without something like the steam achievement manager.

I just finished with the exact same problem, also have the 07th mod installed. I even went back and clicked through all the tips a second time and it didn't work. I may have to go through the bs that Flagoul went through, such a pain in the butt though!

Update: I got it fixed! I ended up doing most of what Flagoul said, disabled steam cloud for the game, uninstalled, deleted the full folder with saves and mod inside, reinstalled. Then I booted the game up new and hit the skip button (make sure to max skip speed in config). Fortunately as soon as the first chapter finished the achievement popped. Weird but hey I'm happy.
