FIX for FPS Drops!

This fixed the fps drops for me, also works with FEAR (same engine)

"Simply go into the Start menu and right-click "Computer", choose "Manage".

From there, go to "Device Manager" and choose "Human Interface Devices".

To get the best performance, you are going to want to disable all "HID-Compliant Device", you should not need to disable ANYTHING else."

Even easier, there is a fix in pcgamingwiki that uses a DirectIpunt injector.

I just had to run the game in compatibility mode (WinXP Service Pack 2) and it fixed it for me.

i right click computer and it just switches the low to high scale

Compatibility mode doesn't work for me. Any other fixes besides hid?

It works but disables USB devices. I found a mod that fixes it, check this thread.
