Doesn't have a controller option, but if you didn't mind mapping the contols yourself then try using xpadder. Xpadder works pretty good with most games that don't have native controller support like older games.

It has a controller option, but the Xbox 360 controller doesn't work.

thx i checked out xpadder. seems very interesting but i'm actually thinking of buying a razer sabertooth controller and i think it comes with it owns mapping software.. so im not gonna buy xpadder for that reason...

unfortunatley all you can really do with a controller in condemned for PC is assign, look left, look right, move forward and backward, none of the other features work, so unless you want to die, get that controller or xpadder.

i typically dont prefer keyboard over controller, but this game is pretty keyboard intuitive.

everythings centered around wasd, if you sat down /w joy2key or some such program you could map things.

the most difficult part would be the axis & the triggers.

its a teriffic game, atmosphereically & graphically.

something about bashing people to death even though you work for the fbi is kinda crazy. lol.

monolith 4 ever.

Steam Big Picture Mode allows you to play anything with any controller. Launch Big Picture go to the game, select settings and then manage controller. Load up a profile someone else made to save time. That's it. I've been playing Civilization 6 with my 360 pad for a week and it's incredible. No need for downloading another program either.

I have Dual Shock 4 (PS4 gamepad) and with the use of DS4Windows software (the one converting your PS4 input into Xbox360) I got the game to recognize the analog stick axes.
Works fine, just like DarkWarrior posted with screenshots' depictions.
However, I had to learn the hard way that you have to disable Steam input: Properties -> General, otherwise Steam interferes with the game input and prevents the game from "seeing" your gamepad.

I managed to figure it out. U just got to go to the keyboard and map the button and then go to the gamepad and map the joysticks. The triggers don't seem to work right but RB and LB works just fine for fire and block.
