I would LOVE Condmened 2 to be ported to PC. God, I would fight a bear in a real life for that.
Which, seems to be what a lot of people are missing.
I've seen people say he should get TechLand because of the melee combat of Dead Island and Dying Light, but... again, they are not an indie developer.
Now, Red Barrel Games (the guys behind Outlast) might not be a bad idea. But, while Outlast was great... there's nothing there for which we could judge combat from. No idea to know how well they would handle the melee focused combat of the Condemned series.
Personally, I think it would be great (and hilariously ironic) if Blackpowder Games got the chance to do it.
Now, I don't see Craig and them going after it... as he didn't work on Condemned at Monolith. But, it would be great to see them wind up making the third entry in the series AFTER they left Monolith.
That would be up to Warner Bros and SEGA only.
Haha, of course he is real and a human.

Its about damn time to create 3rd part!
If only it was that simple. Considering two of the "remasters" you mentioned are not very old to begin with. The time between Metro 1+2 and the Redux releases was a joke. As well as Sleeping Dogs. It is easier and cheaper when you are doing recent games where the team has experience with the engine on the respective platform. Porting over a 7+ year old game that has never been on a certain platform can prove more difficult.
The Condemned "series" already had it's melee focus butchered in Bloodshot when they started throwing guns at you every chance they got. Fact is, there are lots of fragmented series out there, without all their titles released on one unified platform. Either due to exclusivity issues, loss of rights or just poor sales+lack of interest. It happens. Move on from Bloodshot, and just hope that Condemned 3 actually happens and is good.
