Don't buy this version!
Buy the retail version instead, the Steam version has broken files, like the menu for other languages and often sounds are just missing when playing!

It's just in the metro station during a little moment, not a very big problem...

deactivate all HID devices in your hardware manager.

Yeah the audio problems ruin the experience for me, if you own an Xbox 360, I would recommend getting it on there instead.

The game runs at 60+ fps for me for a while until something causes it to lock at like 12 FPS and never recover without exiting out.

Very disappointing, played it on 360 a long time ago and was hoping to revisit the game on PC now with the steam sale but the game is unplayable like this

I don't care about the other languages, but how much of the audio is missing? Only the train sounds at the end chapter 3 or more?
I'd like to buy the Steam version to support the franchise.

Get it cheap of Amazon/Ebay or something. Also your support won't do anything, neither next game nor Condemned 2 PC.

I already have the retail version, got if for 2,95€ (new). I don't yet have a CD drive and if the retail version uses SecureROM, I can't install the game on Windows 10. DRM on the game disks is often nasty.
Who gets the money from Condemned sales? Do you have some in-depth information?

That much for all you "retail yellers" (Windows 7&8 are also hit by updates for the DRM files!!!) :

"The latest version of Windows has made some changes to the way it handles security, and the upshot of this is that deep-level programs like DRM are denied the access they need to function. In many ways this is a much safer way for the OS to work, but it does mean that games using SecuROM or SafeDisc just won’t run. As the DRM technology is no longer used or supported, we don’t expect to see patches that fix this problem any time soon, if at all."

I just bought the Steam version, because my retail won't work no more..... Bugger!!!
