Condemned: Criminal Origins

Was this the one with multiplayer?
Seriously the versus mode in one of these games was incredible. Especially on the farm map. Serial killers only have melee weapons and have to hide the dna evidence, and protect it. and the 4 man police squad bust into the house with guns to try and track the killers and evidence down. It was honestly one of my most memorable experiences in co-op gaming. It changed in my mind, what i considered could even be a concept for a multiplayer game. I understand sega is not in good shape but is there any way to play condemned versus mode again? If so, how, and which title in the series was it exactly.

Was never released on PC I'm affriad. Chances of it ever appearing on Steam are next to none. The old PS3 and Xbox 360 servers arent likley to be runnnig much longer so your probably going to need to find another game all togeather.

I doubt they used dedicated servers and matchmaking is most likely (like 99% certainty) handled by the XBox LIVE peer to peer system. So, if you want to get a game started, you should be able to.

I completely understand why people hate peer to peer multiplayer, but it's situations like this where you can see the clear benefits of a P2P system. Even if a company and community has stopped supporting the game, you can still get online and play.

that would be amazing if it were the case. i mean it only had 8 player matches at max, even 2 on 2 was fun. It was a really unique versus mode
