Strange , i had a Logitech mouse / keyboard hooked up and got about 12 fps .
I went to my native ASUS mouse and k/b and now i get about 60 ( v-sync on )

No matter what change I make in the Device Manager, Task Manager - using solutions provided here: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Condemned:_Criminal_Origins#Frame_rate_drops ...

... the game would simply not run at 60 FPS.

This was with a 970GTX and a Roccat mouse a short while ago. Useless to say, now I own a Logitech mouse and... of course, there is no chance of running this game properly.

Great game but not worth a buy in this state, in my book. :sadelf:

IM GETTING 7 FPS ON A 290X
Equation™ Feb 17, 2016 @ 6:06am
mine starts out at a very smooth 120fps then it degrades over time (within 5 minutes) down to 30fps. If I exit game and restart it where I left it, it is back at 120fps (until 5 minutes later)

Does this only happen when you try and max all the graphical options? Does it happen on windows 7, 8.1, or 10?

It happens when using a Logitech mouse (graphic options don't make a difference)
I've noticed as well that once the FPS have tanked, if I remove the mouse from the USB port, the FPS go back up to 120.
Luckily I have an old mouse (that came with my PC from new) I'll give that a try
I just got this game from the make war not love thing. It does exactly what you describe, fps drops, I unplug my mouse and plug it back in fps goes back up. Really weird bug.

I'm experiencing the same bug. I'm just going to uninstall and not bother with this game.

I have a non logitech mouse but when i unplug it my fps go back to 120 temporarily. i do however have a logictech keyboard, which after unplugging gives me like 10fps back...

It solved my fps problems.:doubleaxe:
Yup, worked for me. Had the same problem with FEAR but I sadly gave up that game after having to disable that stuff all the time.
It's a problem I've noticed with both F.E.A.R. and Kayne and Lynch: Dead Men as well.

I made a guide if anyone needs it:

I'll also have a sound fix uploaded soon and made into a guide as well.
