Well the game properly renders. It will almost certainly launch. It does not support resolutions that aren't 4:3 so your image will stretch. You can use an xbox controller but you have to map every button and joystick and the button detection is incomplete. You will not be able to map every action to an xbox controller but M/KB seems to be perfect.

Just save before you proceed to the next chapter just in case it decides to CTD, also download the 4gb patch and use it on the exe file to make it utilise more memory.

dude it looked too complicated for me, like

''If you have STEAM version you must find CondemnedA.Arch00(6.4 Gb) inside ...common\Condemned - Criminal Origins\Game. You must unpack it with Dragon Unpacker (Use version 5.6.2 !). In the unpacker, you must open CondemnedA.Arch00 file, right-click on the root folder and "extract sub-directories to " CondemnedA.Arch00" and choose the same folder of Arch00 file.

What? It worked in 16:9 for me perfectly.

Anyways, there can be problems with this game when using a Logitech mouse, the solution is this. The fix is here (just the tl;dr part): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=759543948

Extract the file dinput8.dll to the folder containing the executable of the game. For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FEAR Ultimate Shooter Edition"
Start the game like you would normally, for example directly through Steam or GOG Galaxy.

yeah i also already finished game at 1920x1080 and it was smooth, sometimes fps drops only, and thx but my mouse is not logitech, i hate logitech xD

it runs perfect on windows 8.1 for me in 1080p. no issues so far, maybe i think the only glitch is when you are on the subway train moving, its missing the train sound fx. someone else said that and i noticed in that part.
