Egg Inventory Expansion + New Music | v5.2.03

Oct 22

Egg Inventory Expansion + New Music | v5.2.03

15 egg slots

Hold up to 15 eggs at once: 5 new egg slots join the Egg Inventory.
The new slots are free and unlock as you prestige: at Prestige 2, 4, 7, 12 and 20. Already past those? Claim them right away.
Each locked slot shows what it needs, and the in-game help now explains how egg slots unlock.

New Eggs screen layout

Your egg shards, Egg Catalysts and Hatch Cores now sit in the top bar of the Eggs screen, so the egg slots get the whole space below.
Egg slots are bigger, 5 to a row.
Scroll through your egg slots with the mouse wheel or by dragging. The next row peeks in at the bottom so you can see there's more.

New music: Momentum

The new Momentum album adds 3 songs to the Music tab in the Shop: Velocity Rocket for 12,500 coins, Infinite Groove for 15,000 coins and Whispering Meadow for 17,500 coins.
Songs you buy join your background music rotation. Press Play on a song in the Shop to hear it right away.

Polish and fixes

Text on progress bars has a thicker outline, so numbers like 0 / 1M stay readable on an empty bar. This covers every bar in every theme, and Fantasy uses a light outline to suit its dark text.
Fixed tapping a locked egg slot to claim it sometimes doing nothing until you tapped again.

Community Button v5.2.02

New setting: Auto Clicker Cursors

Settings, Performance has a new Auto Clicker Cursors option. It sets how often each auto clicker shows its cursor animation: every click, or every 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 clicks.
New players start on Every 2 clicks. If you've played before, nothing changes until you pick a setting.

Premium Button rework

The Premium Button skin has a new look and now grows as you play. Every click you make with it equipped counts, including your auto-clickers and Clicker Cruise Control.
It grows through 5 stages: Gilded when you get it, Polished at 1,000,000 clicks, Jeweled at 10,000,000, Framed at 100,000,000 and Radiant at 1,000,000,000. Each stage adds something new to the rim.
A rank bar on the rim lights up a diamond for each stage you reach, and a thin bar beneath it shows your progress to the next one.
Choose one of 3 palettes, Ember, Cryo or Plasma, with the new palette button on the Premium Button card in the Shop. The gems take each palette's color, and you can preview all three before you buy.
Your combo, current speed and best speed now show on the button. Turn them off in Settings, General, Premium Button Stats.
The button glows hotter when the whole community clicks faster than usual.
The Solar Flare click effect is now included with the Premium Button DLC, and works on any button skin.

Premium Button Skin DLC

Fixes

FUSE MAX and IMPORT ALL card reveals no longer show a blank white card while a card turns over. The card keeps its themed background.
When a card lands in FUSE MAX, an import or a trove reveal, its burst is now a soft ring of light instead of a solid colored square.

Community Button; Interesting concept. Confusing UI.

* Open game, enable "Clicker Cruise Control" for automated mass-clicking, sit back/do nothing, occasionally upgrade
- Very confusing UI, practically no guidance or visual element relation
- Given the quality of the UI/game overall, DLC + marketplace seem like a cash-grab (may just be a disconnect between intentions and ability)
- Stupid "keep it running for 24 hours" achievement
- Where do I exit the game? ALT+F4 I guess

Game stops responding after update

I'm not sure if it something on my end or not but I didn't have this until today after updating. It happens when I switch to a different window and switch back. https://streamable.com/5ouddc
