The game can't start
Hi, I have a problem with Nine Parchments. When I want to star the game, he tries to work but stop after 1sec.
I can see it on my steam, "game launched" and nothing after 1sec.

I had the same problem on Trine 3 but a simple change resolve the problem. The game was only playable in 32bits (My pc is in 64bits... I don't understand too) and on the launcher, I can change 64bits to 32bits and play Trine 3.

But for Nine Parchments, I haven't a launcher, I can't change.

Can you help me ?

The game is only playable in 64 bits, and your computer is only 32 bit. That's what you wanted to say, right? Check again, and maybe you should get a 64 bit windows.

I really don't understand this problem. If i look at the system property, my pc is in 64 bits. But if i want to play to Trine 3, i must change the option in the launcher and put it in 32 bits.

I say that 'cause the problem is maybe similar

The culprit should be something else.

I have no idea tho. Maybe try to update BIOS, windows, and drivers? It's a long shot tho.

Sorry to hear that you've been having issues with our game.

What exactly happens when you try to open the game? Does the game crash? Does it give you any kind of error message? Are there any .dmp files if you navigate to ...Steam\SteamApps\common\Nine Parchments\log?

Have you tried setting the game to windowed? Press windows key + R and paste the following to your explorer:
%appdata%/nineparchments

Open the options.txt file and look for these lines. Set first two to match your own screen, and the other three to match the lines I wrote here.
setOption(renderingModule, "ScreenWidth", 1920) setOption(renderingModule, "ScreenHeight", 1080) setOption(renderingModule, "Windowed", true) setOption(renderingModule, "MaximizeWindow", true) setOption(renderingModule, "WindowTitleBar", false)

Did this make any difference?

If not, could you tell me more about your setup, what is your operating system, graphics card model, processor, amount of RAM.

A small list of other things you could try:

1. Check the Game's Files
You can do this by verifying the game cache or by reinstalling the game, which should make sure the problem isn't with the game's local files. Here is how to do the earlier through Steam:
right-click on Nine Parchments in your Steam Library → click on Properties → choose the local files tab → click the button to verify integrity of game cache

2. Launch the Game's .exe
Please try to launch the game's .exe file through the game's installation folder, its path is the following depending on where you have installed Steam. You could also try to right-click the file and run it as administrator.

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Nine Parchments\nineparchments_64bit.exe

If you have any trouble with finding the file, you can navigate to the installation folder through Steam by following the instructions below:
right-click on Nine Parchments in your Steam Library → click on Properties → choose the local files tab → click the button to browse local files

3. Update Your Operating System
Please check that your operating system, graphics card drivers and PhysX are up to date. You can find the latest version of PhysX through this link[www.nvidia.com]

Please also note that it's best to restart your computer if you update any of these.

4. Check Open Programs
Unfortunately it's not uncommon that antivirus or other security programs sometimes interfere with any game's files, so please check this isn't the case with Nine Parchments. You could just in case add Steam and the game to your security program's exceptions.

Please also see you don't have any other programs open that could interfere with the game, for example overlay programs such as Raptr or Xfire.

Let me know how it went. :)
