Hello beavers!!!

One month ago we launched Beavertale, and thanks to all your feedback we have been able to identify the main issues you experienced during your adventures. Throughout this month, we have been working to fix them and improve the overall gameplay experience.

The biggest change in this patch is Flappy Beaver, a new construct that you can optionally unlock during the first levels of the game.

With this tool, you will be able to explore the terrain before jumping into it, allowing you to anticipate your moves and plan your constructions better.

We believe this construct is a great option for players to explore the map in a safer way, while still keeping the spirit of Beavertale. We hope you enjoy it and make great use of it!

Another of the most mentioned issues was the use of the third construct, Highway To Hell. Some players mentioned that its behavior could feel inconsistent or strange in certain situations.

That is why we made several adjustments: Highway now has a more consistent speed boost and a much smoother movement feel.

Now all Beavertale interfaces can be controlled using the keyboard.

Use WASD to move (although this may vary depending on your control settings), ENTER to advance, and ESC to go back.

Additionally, pause menus now have better ESC support: you can exit submenus or close the pause menu using this key, one of the changes players requested the most. :P

Finally, we also fixed small issues in some map tilesets, text corrections, and made a small adjustment to the final rewards.
