Whats to stop killer from camping last generator?

Just had a game where the killer sat at the last generator we needed to get. What do you do at this point?

The killer can only hunt one survivor, and can only carry one.
But yes, that seems like an exploitable thing. Dont know how you could fix that.

We all rushed the generator and tried to get it to work but he just cut at us till we were all down, hooked one, came back and about in that time we were just able to get up to be cut down again. Seems like a slim chance of success

the maps have more than 5 engines to turn on, so if hes camping one, go to the others.

You need to repair 5 generators in order to activate both exit gates. However, there are 8 generators spread out across the map, so there's no way the killer can camp the last generator.

Had no idea there were 8, I thought there was 5 per mission. Appreciate the info!

There's 8 but the killer can get a perk or an offering which limits the generators to 7 per game instead of 8.
