How do I use "new moon bouquet"?

An offering for the Killer. It says "calls upon the Entity for the darkest moonlight"

What...does this do? Summon an NPC ally for me or something? How exactly do I use this? Is this a passive? Active?

It's going to be very, very dark if you'll use it. ;)

Equip it in the offering slot in your loadout before a round. It'll make the map very dark, making it difficult for the killer to see you.

The bouquet never gets spent nor does it give any effect. And btw, it's the killer that has that offering, why would he want to make it hard to see the victims?

But that item IS for the killer.

Basically both killers and survivors have access to these, It's a little dumb giving them to the killers, I think they were just short of ideas and wanted to appear to bulk up the lack of content this game has

The only killer that really has use for the map being dark is the trapper to hide his traps

so when you use that offer it doesnt get burned?

I just had a round with someone using the full bouquet, it actually made it easier to see them, i killed them all pretty easely.

Edit: Forget it, my mistake, i meant FULL moon
