what is skeleton key?

I saw a lot of add on item on this key, whats that??

it opens the hatch, the hatch is a static spot on the map, usually near land marks... I know there's always one located outside that mansion house that has two floors with the generator on the top floor.

If you drop out the side window and go around the house to the right, there's one in front of a pallet 100% of the time.

It only opens if you're the last survivor but you can also open it with a key... so if you bring a key with you in to that specific map, just look for that house and do a doe see doe around the thing and you'll discover the hatch.... your key will be lost but you get 5000 points for escaping out of it...

It pretty much gimps your team though, I would only use it at the very end of the match after you've helped with some generators, you'll get a lot more points that way... or if you're bad at escaping the killer, just dip on inside the hatch while he's chasing you...

Also, make sure to open it before you even start playing otherwise you're going to get caught in an opening animation by the killer.

If you have a special stamp add-on the map can also help you find the hatch, but you need the key to open it or you need to be the very last survivor that's alive...everyone else needs to be dead for it automatically open...

You'll hear it too because it's like a loud ass wind tunnel, just follow the wind noise.

Doesn't gimp your team if your whole team escapes through it. (Yes, your team can all escape through the opened hatch)

No but that kinda requires you to play with people that you know or can communicate with somehow. Atleast I'm not thinking "Hey! Maybe the hatch is open even tho we're all still here!"
But as mentioned already, it's used to open the hatch, and there's plenty of maps where the hatch is at a certain spot everytime, so play the game enough and you'll learn the locations etc. I don't suggest using it before you're a comfortable with juking and you know the locations just abit so you have a higher chance of getting out of there. Would be a terrible feeling to use an ultra rare item and lose it after 5 minutes because you don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ to do if the killer finds you.
