Whew… it’s been a busy few weeks.

We’ve been heads down working on a brand-new game mode for Meltopia: Expedition Generator.

Ever since launch, the most common request has been simple:

More content.

So that’s exactly what we focused on.

With Expedition Generator, you can now create a new adventure every time you play.

Customize your expedition by choosing:

Level size

Starting upgrade level

Each expedition features a procedurally generated map where you’ll search for scattered Furnace Engine parts. Snow types are randomized between rooms, making every run feel different.

We’ve also added expedition statistics, so you can track all of your completed runs.

Later, the points you collect here will be converted into points for the co-op mode we are currently actively developing.

The mode is already a lot of fun and adds plenty of replayability—and this is only the beginning. We have many more ideas to expand it in future updates.

To celebrate the update, Meltopia is now 40% off!

A new update has arrived!

In this update:

- Ice cubes that fall through textures are teleported to the base

- Dropped artifacts are teleported to the base when loading a save

- When attempting to push an artifact into a texture, it is teleported closer to the player to prevent it from falling out of bounds

- Fixed a bug with a closed door when saving

- Fixed cold zones (with 3 snowflakes)

- Fixed artifact icon markers and sounds (now work correctly when loading)

- Fixed exiting the tutorial window
