Outralism starts as a blank canvas: no songs come with it, so everything you play comes from players. To fill the Workshop, we're running a contest for the first four weeks after launch.

• Make anything for Outralism: a song pack, a chart, a Lua mod, a note skin, a chart translator, a custom menu.

• Upload it to the Steam Workshop from the game, through the Packs menu or the song editor, with [Contest] at the start of its title.

• Upload it between November 13 and December 11, 2026 (11:59 PM Pacific). You can keep updating it until then.

• Enter as many times as you like.

Between 5 and 10 winners, depending on how many entries come in. Every winner gets their name in a colour they choose, with a wiggle, in lobbies, and possibly access to new features or exclusive features.

EstraRhythm plays every entry and picks the winners for creativity, fun and polish. Workshop ratings count too, so rate the entries you enjoy. The winners will be announced in a post after the contest ends.

• Entries must be first uploaded during the contest and set to Public, so everyone can play them.

• Spam Entries, or stolen Entries will be DQ.

The new built-in chart events need no code at all: zooms and flashes, moving and spinning strumlines, title cards and karaoke lyrics, right in the song editor. For mods, the Modding wiki in the Create menu has an example for every Lua function.

This contest is run by EstraRhythm and isn't sponsored by or affiliated with Valve. Good luck, and have fun making things!
