Game does not download on Linux?
Hello,

I'd like to install the linux version of Matris, but it doesn't seem to download any files when I "install" the game through Steam.

I press install, and it seems to install, but the game folder is empty, and Steam shows "Disk usage: none" in Properties/Local Files.

Looking in `~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Matris` shows 0 files.

Thanks

Hello

The game does not download on Linux because it is not officialy released on Linux yet. It's weird that there is Install button available.

But the Linux (and Mac) version is in beta and it's planned to be officially released for Linux and MacOS.

// if you can't wait you can use password for beta now - qwertasdf1234 ;)

Nice to hear the Linux build is being worked on!
I'm eager to play your game, it looks quite nice. :)

Wow I have tested the game a bit and it runs very well on low specs hardware. Very nice presentation too. Very impressed!

Running Arch Linux (fully updated on 2017-12-24). Steam with native libraries (steam-native) on an Asus EeePC 1215B-SIV064M, 4GB of RAM, AMD E-350 CPU (2 cores, 1.6GHz), integrated GPU AMD Wrestler [Radeon HD 6310]. Running at about 25fps, very playable!

I'll recommend this game even though I haven't fully tested it yet. Very nice work! :bpenguin:
