I assume you can do the 2nd one of those with cheat engine fairly easily. Although across 3 playthroughs (2 on the hardest difficulty configuration), I've not once run out out training manuals.

No idea how did you do that. Its easy? I would LOVE to increase the maximum number of masteries.

Actually, if character automation in battles for main characters was added to the game officially, that would fix the problem as well. Wouldn't even need mods for this, and theoretically, the AI code governing automation is already in the game. It essentially turns characters into NPCs, so it would be simple to just add that little AI Personality bar for the main characters that the police already have.
i would love to see mods for offline mode, maybe let players make maps / mission or even endless modes idk XD
