Is there somewhere to look up builds for the various characters?
Experimenting is fun and all, but I kind of want some easy to use builds for some of the characters I don't really want to use unless I have, but is there anywhere where the community has collectively worked on builds for each character that I can look at for either ideas or just straight up good builds to use?

Not really collectively worked on and just what I ended up with but I did some extensive testing.

I only wish there was an easy way to update the list. If you want to edit a build at some mid level you'd have to play through the game again until that point. D:

Those will help a bit, although I'm not sure on Giselle, as I actually like her beast mastery more than sniper, but other than that it at least gives me some idea for what to do with a few characters like Albus who I never really know what to do with.

Hunter is way more complex than Sniper. There isn't really a single build as its whole kit is heavily tied to the beasts of course. That means that the beast's build is almost as important as Giselle's. Plus the big draw of Hunter is being able to use legendary beasts which makes things even more complicated.

However for starters you can just use all the sets that enhance your traps and play around those. They're easy to use and while being more on the defensive side still pretty potent. Then you fill the rest with supplementary stuff like "Please Help Me!" and other things that speed up your turn so you can throw more traps. The beast I would go for is probably Albino Negoori. It's mandatory to catch anyway for Leton builds and is a solid beasts overall. Works nicely with Pincer Attack and freeze is the strongest debuff in the game.

Yeah, I'm aware, Giselle is an exception to the builds as I actually started replaying the game just to get back to the point (finally got there) where I can start taming beasts again and actually experiment with that more. The rest of the builds are useful however, Giselle is just an exception as I love building the various beasts and making her work with them. The build in that guide seems solid enough however and I can use that as a starting point until I master sniper and actually get some beasts captured.

I failed to capture albino negoori couple times (giselle got killed, negoori tried to attack something and died to covering fire, etc) and kinda gave up on it.
Poor Leton never got to finish his build without ice castle, its annoying that there is no alternative way of getting this mastery.

So yeah, its quite easy to miss on builds without guides.

You can look up Ashuram on youtube, his character guides are always very well made.

Thank you, I'll do that later, I saw the level cap got raised to 60 and I assume the DLC also adds more masteries to play with, so some updated builds for that would be cool too.

Check out the Troubleshooter discord, lots of people constantly posting and helping others with builds.

Theres a guy on youtube that has builds for pretty much everything... Troublershooters, Spotlight, name of the character you want to look up.... About a year old but still 99% relevant and has full breakdowns.
