I'll wait a bit before buying then, I've been waiting for this DLC too long so waiting a bit more won't hurt me. Thanks for your answer!
All outfits will be available at the same price 4$, and you can get a 50% discount if you buy them through the costume bundle. Additional outfits will be included in the current bundle. Unfortunately, you have to buy it by 50% discount price individually every time it is added through current costume bundle.
Season 2 is a new game, so there is not much room for costume data to be linked at the moment.
However, the time when we start developing season 2 will be after next summer. In the meantime, our development team will not stop trying to strengthen and develop season 1. This is because the process of refining season 1 is very helpful in completing the game of season 2.
By selling costumes, we want the development team to be maintained. If this purchase spoils your enjoyment, of course don't buy it.
And thank you for giving us this opportunity, and we will do our best to give you more pleasure.
That's honestly fair and it makes perfect sense. I'll buy them anyway but thanks for the fast answer!
P.S Before I forget, on the Albus DLC, you uploaded the same pic twice, maybe it was a mistake?
WooHoo! My mistake!! Thank you for your report! We'll fix it!
It seems you forget to list the All-in-one bundle on the store page under "Content for this game" https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/28219/TROUBLESHOOTER_Costume_Collection/
I bought the packs individually as I didn't see this option until it's too late ;_; But it should be fine (I hope)
We're just sorry that you bought all our costumes at a high price. Can't we get a refund right away and buy it in a bundle again? We think they'll do it if you tell them while applying for a refund to Steam.
And steam said that the original version is not included in the costume bundle, so it can't be marked. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by this part.
The main part "Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children" is 25$. And the first DLC "Troubleshooter: White Lion And Black Witch" is Free. And Second DlC "Crimson Crow" is 10$.
When you bought "Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children", "Troubleshooter: White Lion And Black Witch" automatically added.
The updated "Crimson Crow" is a paid season pass content. The content is the story of a total of eight scenarios and a new character, Misty, from today until the end of next summer.
so does it mean there will be no new features/characters added to the base and only have access after the 1st dlc? was just confused because i experienced that some games added stuff at the beginning and it was better to have everything complete. Thanks for the answer. the game is truly a hidden gem. I wish your team every success for the future.
Yes, "Crimson Crow" DLC is a story after the ending of first addtional DLC "Troubleshooter: White Lion and Balck Witch". "Troubleshooter: White Lion and Balck Witch" is a story after the ending of "Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children". :)
We'll do our best to give you more pleasure!
While it's clear that White Lion and Black Witch is free, the description doesn't actually explain what it contains. Prospective buyers won't know just how much value you've added to the game for free unless they read the reviews, and players should not have to read the reviews to know what they're getting.
From my understanding, Crimson Crow will consist of 8 scenarios added over a span of time similar to White Lion and Black Witch. The store page does state that it's a "Season Pass" and that it will have 8 missions but it's not actually clear that it only contains one scenario mission for now (this information is only in the update notes). It's also unclear how often new scenarios will be added unless you're an existing player who has seen the update cycle for White Lion and Black Witch.
If I were to look at this game's store pages as a new player, I would see a 25 USD indie game with two soundtracks + digital art books (this is fine), one free DLC that supposedly adds some story, a 10 USD DLC that seems to contain 8 scenarios but only contains 1 right now, and a whole bunch of moderately expensive costumes that be purchased in a bundle but only if you click into one of their store pages. This makes it difficult to figure out what to buy and what you are getting.
Suggestions:
1) Create a gameplay-oriented bundle containing the game + Crimson Crow + costumes, as this makes is easy for players to buy "everything" in one click.
2) Expand the store description for White Lion and Black Witch to at least mention how many scenario missions and characters it adds. It is Free DLC but curious players will still click into the store page to see what they're getting for free. Bringing this information to the forefront is a major reason why you'd list content as Free DLC instead of just rolling it into an update in the first place.
3) Add a section for White Lion and Black Witch in the main store page. Something like "Includes the free White Lion and Black Witch DLC which adds...". This can be pretty much the same as whatever goes into that DLC's store page.
4) Update the store description for Crimson Crow to make it clear that it starts with one scenario mission with new missions being added approximately every X weeks. This may turn off some prospective players but it will also reduce negative experiences from players not getting what they expected.
5) The costume store descriptions should mention the costume bundle, perhaps even link to it. It is redundant but some people will skip over the prices and go straight to the description. You'll still have the case where people add it straight to the cart, but this due to a Steam limitation. Creating a bundle with the game + DLC + costumes will also help alleviate this.
You're doing absolutely fantastic work, and I hope more and more people buy this game. I almost never purchase soundtracks, digital art books, or costumes but I purchased the OST and art book soon after finishing the game and will be buying the costume bundle along with the new DLC.
