Should I buy this game?
Thanks all for the information. I appreciate your time and I already got the answers that I need. I already flagged the answer in this forum.

I'm very much interested to buy this the first time I see this game, however, due to my pas mistake ( buying pre-order game from an AAA industry and encountered a lot of bugs), I decided to take a halt and think for sec. It's been back and forth for to buy this game. The story and anime-looking game (and the battle system) are very attractive but I want to know how much content does this game has?

My questions:

~if u play it straight without doing anything else to complete the main story, how long will it take? is the main story has already ended or it left with cliff hanger and we need to wait for the next episode or chapter to continue?

~What's the dev's plan for continuous contents and updates? will they give them like monthly or what I mean, are they committed to add more content even though main story is completed?

~how long for the dev to give out the new content or updates?

~How much that i can enjoy in connection with the price tag? or how much do I get in this game with this price tag?

~is there any feature like upgrading homebase or room or clothes, etc in this game? or perhaps are there any skill that outside from battle like cooking, social, etc?

~is this game let u choose which mission u want to do and give u the freedom to explore or it's main mission-oriented?

~In connection to freeroam, what kind of activities that we can do?

~Can the character eat or go to like hotel or anything? are these kind of building even on this game? (I asked this because I wanna know how complex is the game)

~Will the dev increase the price again in the future as they add more story contents or new episodes or chapters?

~Does the bugs in this game bearable? (What I mean by bearable is whether the bugs in this game makes u want to pull your hair or pointed indignantly at ur monitor)

~I heard this game has multiplayer choice (If I remember correctly), how good it is?

~ does it use matchmaking system too or? if yes, how long do u wait for a player to join ur session?

Guess, so far those are my questions (I will add more if some comes to mind). I asked here because there aren't many gameplay in YouTube (or even if there are, mostly it's the battle but that's not what I'm looking for, what I'm looking for is the small things that makes the game alive like are there any cooking too here like tales series, or are we able to decorate the room or even have one here like in azur lane, or freeroam activity, perhaps, if there is one (somewhat like that)) about this game.

I've became victims to game ads from AAA company (yeah, I know shame on me it is) and their games didnt feel fun (or they are at first) but then left me frustrated with the bugs. I'm being careful now and want to make sure I know all the details before I buy something. I hope the dev and u guys can understand this and want to share your insight about this game with me.

Nt: sorry for the long post, I know not all enjoy reading a posting this long.

You can't complete the game by playing only the main story as you want certain stuff called masteries of which some are unique and drop only in sidemissions.
You can still finish the main story without completing the game on the easiest difficulty and you'll need at least 50 hours, perhaps 100 because you'll still have to thread carefully because of neglecting the other content.

The end of main story does have a cliffhanger. You don't need to wait for anything. Did you wait for 3 Mass Effect games to be released before playing the first one?

The game is great as it is and exploring everything in it will take you more than 200 hours. It needs no more content. Instead, I'd love hearing that devs are already developing Troubleshooter 2. A sequel.
What are devs' plans I have no idea. It does seem that pay2win lootboxes and microtransactions scams aren't planned, thank god.

Again, what new content? This is not world of warcraftoid mmo that needs to milk people with subscriptions and expansions.
Small updates happen on daily basis even during weekends. These tend to be a bugfix or translation error corrected.

For the amount of content and fun that'll last you for weeks, the game price is unbelievably low. Not only the game is worth every penny, I wouldn't mind if they asked for more.

Yes and no. The base upgrade happens automatically during your progress. A couple of different skins you get automatically when you recruit someone. You won't be cooking as this isn't FF15. Nor will socialize as the game setting is not facebook sim.

The game is not sandbox, means it's mission oriented. Maps are predetermined, there is no cheapskates random generator aka roguelieke/roguelike maps. Loot is random though.

The game is not openworld = no socalled freeroam.

Characters can eat. There are no hotels.

Noone can answer that, not even devs. Unless someone has a crystal ball.

What bugs?
Sure every now and then a bug is discovered, with so many different things in the game it's not possible not ho have something bugged, but as soon as is reported, devs patch it the very same day or tomorrow. Overall however, except some odd translations, unless you go experimenting doing wildest stuff imaginable you won't notice any bug.

~I heard this game has multiplayer choice (If I remember correctly), how good it is?
I have no idea. I bought the game for it's singleplayer and it's singleplayer is brilliant. If I wanted mmo I'd buy trash like Anthem or Fallout76.

The game is not League of Legends. There is no matchmaking.

EDIT:
Completely forgot to write an answer on:

Based on your questions, it seems to me you believe this game is yet another WoW killer wannabe.
It's not.

It's completely different from AAA MMO mainstream shallowness.
In my opinion, you're not searching for this type of product. You want a clone of clones and this game is as unique as possible. Unless you're in the mood for some tactical challenge and trying some new stuff seen nowhere else, you should not buy it.

This game is literally the opposite of your problem. Devs underpriced it. Get it.

Look at my hours played, I don't think I need to say any more.

A few quick answers :

~if u play it straight without doing anything else to complete the main story, how long will it take? is the main story has already ended or it left with cliff hanger and we need to wait for the next episode or chapter to continue?

>>>>> You can't really as at some point there will be some difficulty/underlevel problem. That being said, you need at least several dozens of hours to reach the end of the story. The first arc is over, some questions are left unanswered but no big cliffhanger (though I think everyone is eager to learn more about some characters and branches of the story :-) ).

~What's the dev's plan for continuous contents and updates? will they give them like monthly or what I mean, are they committed to add more content even though main story is completed?

>>>>>> the devs are super involved, answer everything, added content regularly (monthly basis or so) until the release and plan on updating/releasing content regularly if they can afford it. I 100% trust them at this point, they are really really involved and honest.

~how long for the dev to give out the new content or updates?

>>>>> this we don't know yet, the release was just a month ago.

~How much that i can enjoy in connection with the price tag? or how much do I get in this game with this price tag?

>>>>>> the devs get robbed, seriously. Same as previous post, I have a few hundred hours for 15€, best investment (except for games I got for free).

~is there any feature like upgrading homebase or room or clothes, etc in this game? or perhaps are there any skill that outside from battle like cooking, social, etc?

>>>> Not really. (Not like in XCom if you have that in mind). You get a couple of upgrades but no real base-building here. Those upgrades will let you access some crafting, nothing more.

~is this game let u choose which mission u want to do and give u the freedom to explore or it's main mission-oriented?

>>>> Both, the missions are divided in scenario missions and various other independant "side" missions/quest, as well as Violent Cases (think : hard mode, big maps and tons of bosses and mobs)

~In connection to freeroam, what kind of activities that we can do?

>>> I don't understand this question, no native english :D

~Can the character eat or go to like hotel or anything? are these kind of building even on this game? (I asked this because I wanna know how complex is the game)

>>>>>They can eat but it's mostly just a buff-thing before missions. There's not a full city where you can move and eat and sleep, just your base and a stree with shops.

~Will the dev increase the price again in the future as they add more story contents or new episodes or chapters?

>>>> The price increased on release, shouldn't move now.

~Does the bugs in this game bearable? (What I mean by bearable is whether the bugs in this game makes u want to pull your hair or pointed indignantly at ur monitor)

>>>>No game-breaking bug at all. It's quite polished, the main issue is the translation, which get better every day as the community helps a lot with it.

~I heard this game has multiplayer choice (If I remember correctly), how good it is?

>>>> Not for now. You can just meet and trade in the hub street, no multiplayer mission.

~ does it use matchmaking system too or? if yes, how long do u wait for a player to join ur session?

>>>> see previous answer.

That being said, I didn't answer the main interrogation : this game is great, qualitative, offers hours of replay as far as team and character building goes, the story is really good and the dev team is great.

And, hundreds of hours of play.

No hesitation if you ask me (or anyone here, I think ^^)

It's difficult to say how long it would take to complete the game from start to finish without doing anything else because the game, at many points, demands a competent amount of understanding from the player to progress through the challenges presented in story mode. Like any RPG, you'll probably need to grind and get better equipment to keep up in the story, but unique to this game you'll also need a grasp of how masteries work and what all you can do with them. All of that takes time, and without it it's unlikely that you'll be able to beat the story campaign. I can't think of an exact number as to how long it will take to complete the game, sorry.

The game features an online hub where you can talk to and trade with other players. You can also send mail to other players as well, and even send items/money through mail. These are the only online components in the game at the moment, but more will come in the future. Characters can eat and drink food and beverages; there's actually 2 different locations for such, and each have their own menu and buffs associated with the meals the provide. There are a couple of costumes for each character, too.

The game usually as a content update of sorts every 1 to 2 weeks, with a roadmap planning to be released sometime this month. As for the story itself, it doesn't really end on a cliffhanger, but it does leave A LOT of room to be explored in a second episode.

The game has no freeroam, but you can select from different missions and repeat them if you wish. once you unlock the case files, you can repeat the story missions.

For this price, the game is a steal, It is very underpriced for the content you get. Plus the devs have been updating the game since it has come out, some patches have been bug fixes, some adding features that people wanted to see. the story isn't really that bad, it just takes a bit of getting into.

I highly recommend the game.

Yes, you should buy this game. If you go to Gear Tactics, you see a lot of post complain about price but in this forum, most of people believe the developer charge to little. Most of people request the developer sound track/art/custom so we can support because we afraid they don't make enough money for their effort. Here is some features I like about the game:
Each character has three class. In the end game, you can have various build for your character
Some story mission, you are able play at villain
You can tame pet like catch pokemon
You can build drone
When you failed mission, you still keep experience/mastery/item. For item, you have a chance to lose it when you failed mission but you able to spend money to buy it.
You can change the difficulty on a fly. If the mission is too easy, you can increase the difficulty.

The game currently has two weakness:
The translation is weak but community help developer to improve
You acquire the character through the story. In the beginning, it takes a long time to get more characters.

This is best developer which i see so far. They are only 6 members. They answer most of comment/review from the player. Also you can give them suggestion and they will implement if they believe your suggestion is reasonable.

Due to small size team, the new content is slow but they fix bug really fast to the point some people complain they update too much. When they release new mission stage, you can spend 20 to 40 hours to farm new item/mastery. Thus, it will take around few months. It has too much content for price tag of $25 unlike Gear tactics is little content for $60. Currently, they still plan to release more free content in the future after they fix all the bug in the game. Also, they will give out episode 2 for free if they make enough money to develop. I feel the developer is the saint. I believe the developer is too passion for the game instead of try to make money from the game.

This game shouldn't be $30, its too cheap.

Talking about gear tactics I dropped that game, cus this game is far better and cheaper which doesn't make sense

Thanks for all the feedback, guys. They really helps me to decide whether to buy the game or not. I dont really mind with the so called poor translation as for me personally, language is just a mean to communicate idea or express feeling and story, so as long as I can understand the story, it's good.

Some of u said u can repeat mission, does that make u feel bored? Or is there any reason besides levelling up or getting specific item to repeat mission? (E.g. I play code vein at the moment after feeling bored and frustrated playing TD2 and in code vein, u replay story or replay the game to get more bloodcode and ending)

What's the max level of this game if I may know?

And what I mean by freroam activity is mini game, maybe the game has that?

I heard there's choice system in this game that determine route or ending or outcome? Is that true?

Bro for the amount of hours u will put In this game, u are wasting time here just buy the game play for 2 hours if u don't like refund, this game is rly good

I have 117 hours on this game and I have not finished cus I'm having fun repeating stuff for achievement or unlocking masteries
