So i start a little thread as a way to get to know and interact with oher players playing this until lobbies are added.

So let's chat, debate, speculate, theorize and all the good stuff here! Show off screen shots or maybe ask peoples opinions on build concepts and ideas, maybe want help on a boss or mission, just want to chat about game lore or characters, I simply wanted to make place where we can all just get to know each other and have fun talking about this game.

SO i'm gonna start with on who I speculate might be the next character, and theroize on some lore as well tell my favorite character so far. Now just know that i'm not saying this is who or what will happen just is all just my theroy based on how the story is going at the moment.

High Probabilty:

Ray : I honestly see ray joining us next, it seems the current ark of the story we're on at the moment is shining the light on the alley group, and ray personality wise seems to be anti criminal much like troubleshooters but seem to have taken unlawfull actions to go about this much like Irene, plus she seems like a pretty kind hearted person so it wouldn't surprise me after meeting albus again, seeing how much stronger he's gotten and seeing hexing working with him she'll probably join us too if it means stoping Carter's spiral into selfdestruction due to his desire for revenge.

Issac : We have many interaction with him at this point and with the news of him being dissmissed there's the chance he might join us in order to continue to protect the people of Vahalla, plus he would proabably have more freedom when it comes to helping people out sense I can only imagine the clearance he would need to mobilize forces to take on these cases where as troubleshooter ussally can just go in and handle it, though the idea of getting another shooter this soon doesn't thrill me, I still would love to have him.

Medium Probabilty :

Kylie : This is mostly due to our numerous interactions with her and are realiabilty with getting things done, She seems to be an independant 3rd party who the VHPD hire from time to time,
but they often need to enlist another group to provide support for her, Kylie could basicly skip the middle man and join us directly that way if VHPD need her skills for something she already have a team of people who can get things done with her, plus she can hone her skills as she fights as a troubleshooter.

Bianca and/or Alisia : I'm half on this one, while we have seen them a few times there seem to be story there that we haven't seen yet, I think once the story shifts focus on them and shines more light on them then we'll probably get them.

Low Probability :

Sion's or Irene's Sibling : We just recently find out about these two siblings and both siblings seems to or at the least might have some combat experince of some kind, while I wouldn't mind having either I really don't seem them poping up anytime soon, espically Sion's sibling since he seems to have gone Awol.

Leton and/or Carter : Yeah I don't see this happening any time soon to be honest I see us fighting them more then them joining us at this point, Carter seems to be working with someone who's bent on being antagonistic and among the list of groups said person wants to deal with our group is also a target, making Carter our enemy and due to Leton loyalty him as well, so long as they continue to work with this person.

Marco : I litearly see no possible way of him joining us now at this point.

Luna : She's low on our list simply due to the fact it seems Marco or atleast his group has her on a leash it seems. Though I think once we start bashing heads against the Vendetta group i'm pretty sure the friendship that was starting form between her an Anne will make her join us. Hell something might happn now that makes her join us, like maybe she has a falling out and the only person she knows that may help her would be Anne.

Silver : While we're getting some beast story alittle here and there they still seem to be pretty united on dealing with humans, though I think that once the beast start to have a power struggle of some kind then Silver may join us, if only due to the apperent history he has with Anne.

And so far my favorite character is Anne, despite her age and lack of combat expreince she still try her best help and support the others even if she herself is scared or drained. A close Second would be Albus, I just honestly like the guy, freaken has NO hesitation when it comes to civilian safety, and i'm liking his growth from a novice troubleshooter to one of the pros alongside his group.

So let me hear your thoughts who do you think is comming next who's your favorite character so far, and nice to meet everyone, I hope to see everyone in the lobbies in the future!

I think Bianca and/or Alisia is more likely, and youc an get them at a 2 for one deal. They already know each other, and seem to lean toward that direction. They fill a role of swordman/white knight, and wind elementalist/ maybe something else. This would provide alternatives to Albus and Sion.

Ray is also highly likely, since we need someone to use thoe thrower mastery, and she offer a differnt attack style. Also she seem to be an altnerative healer.

Can we get them already?

I don't Bianca and Alisia joining us simply because they are already group on their own and they don't appear to have any desire to change their duo anytime soon, unless something in the story changes to make them need to be part of a larger team I don't see them joining us atleast not in this Chapter, plus seems like Alisia goes out of her way to stay out of trouble and conflicts for the sake of Bianca, and yeah I see Ray happening soon if not this chapter then most likely the next one though I think we'll need some dodge masteries besides the one general slot one since it seems throwers benefit from high dodge, and Ray has poor dodge rate for a thrower. =S

Yeah, the current story progression make it tricky to get them to join... but putting on a story writer hat, could maybe see a plot something like:

Bi is thinking about wanting a more adventurous life, and want to help more people. They were attacked by some hire assassin from a differnt city, and was saved by your company. Bi want to experience a Troubleshooter's job, so she join you. Ali, while she already are in a differnt company, and already Troubleshooter her self, was impressed by you and the goods you done, and is dragged/forced by Bi, so she join you in a consultant position to still be bodyguard to Bi.

Yeah the most plausible reason for them to join would be if something were to happen to one of them forcing them to seek our help, either due to them becoming a targets for something like assasins or hitmen, if anyone would be a target it would for this it'd probably be Bianca due to her family I think owning some form of industry, most likely buisness rivialry or hostage situation etc, as a way to get at her family, though Alisia could also become a target too due to her troubleshooter history, maybe someone might higher the vendetta group for this and this could potential create the platform for us to not only get Bianca and Alisia but to also get Marco and Luna as well. With some more scenarios left in this chapter theres a possiblity of it happening.

I think Bianca joining us on her own though is...I don't know, she seems kinda arrogant, and I think she has a pretty high standard that us simply doing our job wouldn't be enough for her, maybe Alisia but not that Ice queen. Alisia being a consultant I can see happening too if we somehow gain enough respect from her to the point that she would join us and help grow our company, Sion could always just harass them to join aswell like with Irene, lol. XD

Yeah I saw that Marco joins them but it seem that was an early build of the game, looked like originally we were supposed to be playing as the Alley group, but that's me just specualting based on the screenshots etc, I'm pretty sure or atleast hoping that he does join, though I would be curious to what would be his driving force to even consider joining us. I can atleast see Luna joining due to Anne but what would even make him join.

I can only assume something like he leaves Vendetta on bad terms taking Luna along with him
causing the group to hunt them down and want them dead, your group stumbles on them let's say Anne and Irene are out on their own just having fun or relaxing and Anne spots Luna, she follows with Irene close behind and they see Marco and Luna being ganged up by Vendetta, Anne and Irene jump in to help and after the smoke clears Anne trys to find out what's going on but Luna simple evades the qustion in order to keep her safe, after several encounters like these and after finding out more about the Vendetta group, Albus offers them to become troubleshooters and he would use his connection to get their record clean, they accept but with a condition that albus and his group take down vendetta etc.

That's just a scenario I can see happening.

I think Ray, Bianca/Alisia seem very likely but somehow I think the next one will be Sions brother. If I remember right in some post dandylion said a new teammember will join but they need some story for it. The next mission was the one where Rion was introduced. Might be a coincidence or maybe not. I think he's in some old youtube video and is a ESP user with earth element.

Also please don't forget about Jean (from the first mission). He might need some more skills but it seems like a waste to never use this character again after only 1 mission. He could play the role of a tank with high def but maybe reduced (move) speed.

Oh lord, jean...I actully tried to forget about him...But yeah I saw a video too of red haired I guess fighter doing a jumping aoe attack, I put the siblings in the middle because we have gotten characters such as Sion and Anne without much story build up, Is why they are mid on my list, still placing my bets with Ray though simply due to so much of the alley's story being revealed. But hey a new character still a new character right? =P (Secretly wants Luna...Knows never gonna happen soon Q_Q)

I just want Maria though, hopefully she can either advance to MK, GS or different, maybe sword dancer increasing dodge.
Botzu wants Gisele, she is sniper afaik.

Considering there should only be one content patch in october its likely the next character will join in the course of one mission. No character has joined so far without us crossing their path a few times thou.

Ray: I think she will join soon but not within one story, she had the opportuinity and did not join. It would need more than one mission to give her enough reason to change her mind and advance the Alley Story.

Leton: I guess he will join not before Ray does.

Carter: Will be a tough one to convince and will only join after we beat the hell out of him alot of times to "convince" him hes on the wrong path but with the right goal.

Bianca/Alisa: I can see Bianca join any moment if Alisa disappears on a mission or has to tend to her own stuff the only place Bianca could go for help or protection and training would be our company. I dont see Biancas attitude as a problem at least she did decide to help Irene just from seeing her determination to help civilians. Also Alisa is protecting Bianca from something, maybe even from her own family as she seems to be kind of running from the life her family has planned for her. Alisa would only join later or if she needs help to free Bianca but only after we save them both as she would go at it alone first.

Kylie: She could join anytime and have her story come later.

Sion's Brother: He probably just walks in through the front door and does stick around no matter if asked to do so.

Luna: Likely to join much later through the bond with Anne but it will be difficult to free her from the influence.

Marco: He might finally help to set Luna free and join or die/disappear kind of turning sides on the last moment. If he doesnt help he will chase us for a while after we got Luna out of his grasp resulting in a final confrontation with Don.

Silver: I have a feeling that Silver will die and we will take a cub on the team instead which he protected. Definitly the Tima we can add to the team will be a "silver" type to get access to all beast masteries and not be limited to one element.

Gisele: Sniper girl from the early build will definitly join the team.

Priest: Annes White Mage class has acess to priest abilities but there is no priest class yet, either Sions Brother does have the priest job or a new character with this job will appear.

Oooo I was just thinking of silver joining us but i like the idea more if a Cub not yet conditioned to hate humans could join us.

Well, theres supposed to be a bunch of different groups in valhalla. Vendetta, the VHPD, Carters group, Red Dragon(kylies group), spoonism(I suspect sion's brother is related here) and the smaller gangs. I think we will probably get atleast one character from each of the big groups as they are introduced. We already have one from Carters group and I don't think we will just poach any more of Carter's members before we fight him. I think the next character will be Kylie based on her showing up a lot recently.

I mean it seems with Carter group the thing that was keeping them together was them all growing up together as orphans and having to fend for them selfs when they got old and strong enough they supported the others, but that all came crashing down when that gang terroized them and started to demand a cut of what they bring in, at that point i think their new driving force was to remove said gang or gangs so that could never happen again, though i think they also have some resentment for the VHPD for reasons i'm not 100% clear on, but with Carter taking a more darker path then the others their group is starting to break appart at the seams with those like Hexing and Ray voicing their displeasure with the way he's handling things and Hexing going as far as fighting him and leaving, I pretty sure Ray will probably do the same, as Carter doesn't seem to be trying very hard to convice them to stay or stop them. I don't know what's the story with Letons loyalty but there's a good chance will have to fight Carter and him a number of times before we can see them joining us.

Outside that I do also think that Kylie is a strong possiblity as well, she doesn't seem to have a
huge story to tell like the others and she seems like a character who can be explained as the story progress if there is anything to explain with her. Her increased apperances made me think she was gonna join us soon, though i wonder how they will handle the repeatables that shes already a part of.

I also think with the way Carter's group is right now vs our team they need all the help they can get to put up a challenging fight. Thats why I think we first fight them before we recruit Ray.

I find it hard to belive Ray won't join soon based on early promotion footatage mostly due to the fact that these are generally used to showcase gameplay and characters rather then narritive and it's not concrete enough to make me belive she won't be joining us next, Not saying she won't have a thrower crew nor am I saying she is joining, just makes it hard for me to think otherwise.

On the subject of challenge with us V.S. Carter crew, Carter isn't being antognistic to us by his own choice, it's because of the person he's working with that we became a target, and he's so far never directly focused on us, I'm sure by this point he knows enough about us and knows Hexing is with us to realize taking us by himself with only Leton isn't a good idea so he'll probably have support from this other guys group and other allies he may or may not have we don't know about, I highly doubt Ray will help him since she knows Hexing is working with us in order to stop Carter, and she already told him she was going to try to figure things out on her end, so if anything she would probably join us in fighting Carter if we were to cross his path or stay out of the fight as she wouldn't want to fight the people she see as her familiy, she may also might take part as a 3rd party in an attempt to stop both sides and this might be where we'll see this spraycan unit you saw in the vid if they decided to keep it in.

If you mean challenge as in their levels vs ours there's not much that can be done in that area since the mission is most likely gonna be for lvl 24-26 and for people who have been with the game for awhile and have been getting to the level cap each time it has been raised are going to be overleveled, the mission needs to be fair enough for people within the level range if they try to make it too challenging then player who join in later are going to be forced to grind and the way exp is given in this at the moment that's going to turn off players if it hasn't already, I can understand leveling a bit so you can take on the next story but the exp gain needed for the next level needs to be adjusted espically for support class focus characters like Anne. There also needs to be a freeze to the level caps for awhile to let the story catch up.

Side note you guys can start another conversation in this thread if you guys don't have an input in this current one, i just want to talk, discuss and debate things with other players who are enjoying the game. ;D
