TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children

TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children

Are Bianca and Alisa gay?
I'm only a couple of missions in but these two are giving off some very queer vibes.

I viewed them as being besties with Bianca probably being the one more invested in the relationship. Though Bianca's behavior towards Albus does come across as the classic tsundere character which is only reinforced by Alisa's comments on her actions when talking to Albus.

I doubt we'll get any definitive answer since these kind of things are usually left open to interpretation and people will see things differently. Hell, wouldn't surprise me to see some Albus x Sion art and/or some Giselle x Kylie with some roundabout idea about their relationship.

As for Albus and Giselle being married to their work, my prediction is that we're close to Giselle's arc coming to a close where she'll probably have a personal crisis about what next to do. Maybe that's when she'll finally lose that trait that makes it near impossible to build her bond with Albus and she turns out to be a cougar....

A guy can hope :D

I don't really get that from the characters and context. Bianca is quite obviously a character isolated from society by her position. Within the context of many webtoon dramas, she is the Heiress/Princess role. IE - In Gyi Yoon from Girls of the Wilds. Alisa would be Lee Moon Young by that same comparison - and Irene closer to Choi Dal Dal, though with the theme in Girls of the Wilds being more directly focused on the concept of romance or the relation between men and women. Troubleshooter is obviously more of a socio-political drama (closer to Gundam) suitable to a tactics game, whereas Girls of the Wilds is a Waifu generating romance and coming of age drama.

What I get out of Bianca and Alisa is that Alisa is basically the only human Bianca has ever truly interacted with - so the whole spread of human emotions that can be felt toward another human being are bundled up with the only person she really has to interact with. Since we all have a need for emotional intimacy - there is going to be that, as well. However, to conflate this with romantic interest would, in my opinion, be mistaken. As I don't read Korean very well, I can't necessarily make much argument regarding the translations - but many parts of the world that are experiencing success do not worship at the altar of things which result in their children not also producing children. While the west stuffs virtue signalling into anything it can, these days - and manga has always been the work of social degenerates - it is my observation that the Koreans are a bit more straight laced in their storytelling and depiction of relationships - and I honestly think they are better off for it. Even their more risque works (such as Brawling Go) have imbued within them warnings against degeneracy and try to puzzle out what is and is not a healthy relationship between men and women. Ghost Love, Lilith's Cord - all very similar in that regard. Girls of the Wilds - while not an ero as the others - is very much along the same theme - even with a manwha featuring a fictitious school where the girls train to fight and are treated like superheroes - (which one would think the degenerate left would go absolutely bonkers over) rejects what we would call wokeism and degeneracy.

I mean, when Lilith's Cord is probably among the more degenerate of Korean works and it is more wholesome than the average disney tv show.... It is a curious time to be alive when I would rather turn my hypothetical child loose in a hentai gallery than watch broadcast television. They will probably not only learn more about the world (quite a few have some pretty solid depictions of economics and even the importance of practical trade skills), but have a healthier understanding of the relation between men and women than kids who sit in front of the television. Even Discovery and History have deteriorated into nothing more than mindless 'reality' drama programs about throwing things in a garage.

Never thought I'd find another Girls of the Wilds fan here. Sup.

But yeah, most of the Bianca's flashback interactions has her being basically put on a pedestal with only Giselle and Alisa being the ones to treat her as just a normal person.

Which is why she has little positive interactions with men and why she tries to rip Albus a new one during the train scene when she thinks he's staring at Alisa (who knows, maybe he does like 'em older :D)

Though it does says something that he's the only guy she seems determined to treat like crap after joining, but that might end up just being jealousy since he's someone, at least somewhat, recognized by both Alisa and Giselle. The two she most admires.
Correction:

Everyone loves Sion, but Sion only truly loves food.
Giselle and Jane are both man hungry cougars for sure. Bibi deffo has a thing for Albus, it's glaringly obvious.

Doubt Jane would count as a cougar since one of the more recent cutscenes had her as being twelve years Giselle's junior. That makes her pretty close to Albus's age iirc.
Spoilers for end of White Lion and Black White DLC:

In his letter to Bianca, Ramjist says "the relationship between you and Alisa reminds of the relationship between your parents" <-- With this in mind, I'm going to say "Yes".
Alisa is definitely gay, she blushes and gets jealous whenever Bianca talks about other women like Giselle. I may be misremembering but isnt a girlfriend mentioned during the flashback on her life with her adoptive father. but she also implies shes unhappy with just being considered as a daughter by him and wants a closer relationship with her 'father'.

Im not sure on Bianca though as she seems to have a crush on Albus while also having a fascination with Sion, and she gets upset whenever shes not the focus of Albus attention.

I think Giselle and Jane seem like an item but they arent sleeping together, theres a cutscene where they are eating breakfast together and Jane says its the first time Giselle has spent the night and how unusual it was for Giselle to just turn up at her place in the middle of the night upset, it implies they have never had breakfast together before and this is after theyve been together in Windwall again for two years.

Most of the cast is at a PRIME age for romance, so it's a little weird to see them not developing any sort of feelings. Albus, Sion and Irene are 20, the Alley trio is 23, Bianca is 25, Kylie 27 and Alisa 28. Giselle and Jane have hit 35, so if they haven't had anyone until now, they unlikely will at all.

Jane isn't 35. A bit of dialogue references how odd it was for them to be friends when Jane's 12 years younger than Giselle.

Dunno, Alisa always seemed to be amused by Bianca's behavior while Bi seemed to be the more clingy one with how she jumped (metaphorically) on Albus for "looking" at Alisa.

Could just be her being tsundere towards a guy she thinks is attractive since she has little real experience with men not immediately sucking up because of her family name.

More interestingly is how polite and mature people are sharing their opinions. It's like we've forgotten we're supposed to be rude, incel, neckbeards. No wait, that's how urinalists want desperately to portray us.

A 12 year age gap is too big for them. I believe it's 12 years since they chose different paths: one joined the VHPD and the other became a Troubleshooter. If Jane was 12 years younger, then they likely never would have even met and become friends. Also, the VHPD never would have put someone who's 24 on a position formerly manned by Isaac Gordon.
I am not an expert on romance but to me it felt like they are just really close friends. Both Giselle/Jane and Bianca/Alisa.

In BIanca's case specifically, she's probably too jaded about how her life was arranged for her to really enter a relationship for some time.

Giselle and Jane are definitely friends. I've said in another thread that I suspect Alisa having a one-sided crush on Bianca, but is aware that it's a pipe-dream. Bianca is the sole heir of the Leblanc family and it'd be a huge scandal and the end of their bloodline if she entered a relationship with Alisa. Ramijist can ship them all he wants, Bianca will most likely enter a political marriage.
