Draki nest
Any way to not aggro the whole cave when doing this mission ?
Tried both sides and still have a hundred enemies coming at me after 5min in :/

No i don't think so, i've never managed to go from one side and keeping the enemies from just alerting everything. So what i usually do is go left at the beginning since that way you won't be as swamped with enemies right from the get go. And you can clear out all the rock and lightning drakis over there without having like 50+ enemies at the same time. Then when you get over to the other side from that path things becomes a bit tricker since then you have the breeding cave to the right and that place has a lot of enemies.

Usually i won't rush into the breeding cave right away, but rather try to keep all the drakis in the corridor instead to limit how many i have to fight for 1 - 2 turns, then i go all in with my tanks and such in there and clean them out after i dealt with most of the leaders. Since these are harder to take down.

But if you do that way the queen start to hatch the eggs before you even reach her no ?

Yes sadly they will do that if you aggro her, but they will start to hatch as soon as you take her down as well.

Well I guess going for eggs and going for a clean in the same time won't do then :p
Thanks for the answer tho :Irene:

No problem, you can probably do it if you have a pretty strong team that can clear pretty fast then that would work.

Generally speaking, getting eggs in the draki's nest is a matter of downing the queen, camping Giselle at the battlements overlooking the nest proper, then sending in someone real dodgy under a smoke cloud to sit there and eat the approximately 80 attacks from the mini drakis once they mass spawn, yeah. On the upside, once that tedious bit is done, you can easily get four draki eggs in a few moments, so it's not all bad. You mostly just want to park someone at the entrance to the side corridor the rock draki prince and friends will come from to hold the line so she doesn't die early from an ambush, IIRC.

Someone with one shot one kill and catharsis can kill every young draki in a single turn.

I most enjoy doing this with Alisha because she can be getting a free buff for each kill she makes, so by the time she's done all of the little ones she's able to do the same with the bigger ones. I've had her wipe all of the draki in the room and all of the draki in the frost room. It was the best turn ever :)

Yeah. I've managed to clear it AND get eggs on normal but it was fruitless when I was trying to make a run at the king on hard. I want to give it another shot but the drakis always go for Sion and Heixing first leaving me without solid AOE attackers which makes the whole thing even worse.

If it helps any, Ray can also take care of business, and in a pinch so can Irene and Anne. It's a huge drag though, no two ways about it.

Heixing can get a lot of use out of Cover Move which makes him completely immune to ranged attacks as long as you don't mess up his positioning.
