Seconding this. Constricting Root + Severe Bleed = enemy can be totally ignored and will be dead in about 100 AT. Constricting Root is in general one of the best non-Freeze status effects to throw at tanky enemies, since even the most deadly dude can't kill what he can't see or reach.
Other alternative is use Anne or Leton to entangle/freeze the enemy then beat them up or have Albus, Heixing and Giselle bleed them to death.
Block chance reduction doesn't work on Final Resistance either. Tried that on both ends. During a Draki Nest run, I had Heixing take a critical hit from the Frost Draki baron and trigger Final Resistance. Heixing blocked the follow-up attack despite being frozen. And I attacked Ash-covered Yashas with the Breakthrough mastery equipped. If Final Resistance is triggered, they block with a 100% certainty. And Darius with Final resistance active blocked Irene's Red Panda 6th style - Front breakthrough ,which under any other circumstances reduces the Block chance to 0%.
Now that I mention it, if you have Irene, that's a good way of dealing with Final resistance. If the target is down to 50ish % HP, Irene should be able to incapacitate them with said attack. But only if the HP is higher than said 33%.
Yea it was Darius. He really was like an unstoppable barbarian.
Maybe I'll try out a build like that. I was using Albus as a lone counterattacking Magic Knight tank at the front line with Irene as a Magic Wall Battle Mage. Didn't really like the DoT in this game but maybe I'll play around with it after this.
