Offline vs Online
Several months ago, I was interested in this game, but the "always online" requirement put me off.

I can see the game is out of EA and it has an offline mode now. That sparked my interest in the game again.

But the store page isn't very clear about the differences between online and offline. What I want to know is if the offline more has all content, missions, characters and such, lacking only multiplayer game play, community events, chats and such. Or there are missions, characters, items, weapons and such that are "online only"?

Will I get the full single player experience from offline mode or will I miss out something from online mode (except the obvious PvP, co-op, and such)?

There is no difference in singleplay contents between online and offline. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to switch to online once you start with offline, but it seems you don't really care about that.

Thanks for the reply. Just one more question: is the game difficulty different between online and offline mode? (For example, there are other online games with offline gameplay, but that are harder because some levels were made assuming there's more players or that the player can get stuff (weapons/items/etc) by trading with other players and such.

Not at the moment. I think trade barely occurs at this stage for devs to consider adjusting difficulty

Thanks again. I'm going to buy the game. I don't usually like to play online games and I wouldn't want to buy a game where that would be required (either as a requirement or because it would be too disadvantageous not to do so).

If you are online, can you move servers ? say like from Asia to North America and back ?

No. If you start on one server you can't transfer that data to another server.

Yes, I think there is an export data option.
