Burning lava skin

Hi, I just did the mission for the burning lava skin, the objective is like for the watch in another mission: secure the object of interest, except I don't really underdand how it works, in the watch mission I managed to clear it even though I didn't do anything special, I thought it would be in a chest but no. At the end of the mission i was able to deliver it. My problem is that for tje burning lava skin I did the same but at the end of the mission I didn't get it.
Does someone know if it's a random drop at the end of the mission? Is it supposed to be in a chest and during the watch mission I didn't pay attention to the loot? I'm kinda fed up with farming a long boring ass mission to try to figure out how to complete it and I can't find any info on this game on the internet as it's pretty new (at least not for my problems)

Burning Lava Skin (and similar quest items) drop randomly from enemies. In this case, you need to defeat Magma Tima to get Burning Lava Skin.

erf thought it could be red timas but I didn't get any in the mission, is this RNG dependent?

I did the same mission again, and again no red tima, gonna try another mission but I find this truly BS.

The road mission where you rescue the trucker is a good one for magma timas. They come in droves, so its really easy to get the skin.

Ok thx for the advice, I decided to give up for now and thought it might drop while just minding my own business, will spare me the headache ^^
