Rescue Lee the Trucker (Could Not Finish Mission)

I'm trying to level up Anne before continuing the story, did one of the road missions against waves of timas. I reached the NPC, Lee, tried putting all of my team members in his bubble but he wouldn't join the team or move at all. Defeated 5 waves of timas and they stopped coming.

Had to abandon the mission. At least I got to keep the items I scavenged. But it was still a huge waste of time.

Was I supposed to use some contextual 'Rescue' option in the ability bar? If so, I didn't see it. I admit I could have missed something, but other NPCs in the game have joined the group after moving next to them and I assume this should have happened here as well.

You have to use "stabilize" command on anxious survivors before you can rescue them.
Once they are stable you can command them to go to the exit.

Thanks for the quick reply. I figured I must have missed a contextual option because I have a vague memory of it being tutorialized, but between the tutorial and now, which I did days ago, I had other missions where you simply have to close the distance to activate other NPCs. I'll keep the stabilize command in mind for the future.

Dont you just want to throw his fat ass over the rails and tell him to get his ass moving or we'll leave him to the Timas.
