Also - at least imo - some of the missions have quite the replay factor since you can make different decisions and they change parts of the mission. And you'll (pretty surely) not only play the story missions but all of them, so you should count them in in your play time.
So even if the game's not finished yet it does already give quite a nice amount of playtime. I thinkI spent at least like 100h on my current playthrough, though I was probably a bit on the cautious side in quite a few of the later missions. And I also like to farm ^^'
You can spend a lot of time with this game already.
It's doing great now but it's gonna blow up when it hits 1.0.
Yeah, their price is stupid low for the amount of content in the game.
At that price I didn't have any expectation but it's almost AAA quality (exception for the graphisms but still good enough) with more than most AAA in quantity.
And it's been like a year since I've played this game so there was less content, there was no offline mode when I quitted the game.
Now I don't mind grinding (I love disgaea games) but I used to play some missions that take 2 HOURS to complete, you have some missions where you have to defeat 100 bad people in a huge map or I used to kill monsters in a huge map in order to get materials. You know what this game need ? A vehicle that transport your team to another location of the map when you farm a mission, may it be a chopper that teleport your team or they all get in a jeep or something because when you spend turns moving your team it's kinda boring and slow.
This game is supposed to have online features but the devs said that they wanted to finish the SP part before adding MP so farming only for SP seems like a waste to me. They could have added some community events like kill 1 hundred billion monsters in a month or something, so if later on we manage our team from scratch for MP and we have to grind again..........
The game is good despite what I'm saying don't get me wrong, but it's still incomplete and it could use some bit of polishing wich is what the devs are doing since they still work on the game, so if you don't like grinding and want to finish the game just for the story you'll be busy (easily 40 hours), if you like grinding for Masteries, levels, crafting you'll be very busy (at least 400 hours if you are crazy with farming, for exemple I have 2020 hours in MGS5: TPP just because of farming, or 700 hours on FF10 on PS2 because I loved blitzball XD).
So far a small price you'll get content but that can depend of your taste, I can recommend some other games if you want.
Want a rogue like megaman ? 20XX
Want an 8 bit Castlevania ? Bloodstained: Curse of the moon
Want a turn based game with a lot of characters path and a story and farming ? Troubleshooter
almost... 1 story mission is still missing
Really? for me it feels like wer like half-way there still...there are many unfinished things, like the white tiger gang finish, black tigers, ofc carter plot, not to mention recently started experiments with ESP ppl, the government, vendetta, the nine dragons...i feel like itll take atleast 1 or 2 more chapters till they can close up all the plotlines they started out.
